Class Description

**All Spring Courses will open for registration on March 23** Please read ENTIRE description before signing up. In this student-directed sketching class, kids will get to come with ideas of what they want to learn to draw or improve on and receive one-on-one guidance and support as they practice. Each class will begin with a quick 5 minute tip on something related to sketching, such as how to draw lightly, building with large shapes, shading, proportions etc. The rest of the class will be dedicated work time where students bring an idea, work in progress or reference photo and I spend individual time with each student as they work. This is the perfect class for kids who are excited to get better at drawing and shading but want some support and feedback as they go. Think of it as a private sketching lesson, but with a few extra kids to talk to! Due to extremely limited space, I ask that parents drop their kids off for this class. If you have any specific concerns about leaving, please let me know. You are of course more than welcome to come inside and get them settled. *Absence Policy: One credit of $18 in the form of a discount code for a future GROUP class sign up will be emailed for ONE absence for any reason. Further absences will receive no credit. Please contact Heather directly in case of emergency. Class dates: Every Monday, 6 to 7 pm, April 15 through March 17. Class minimum of 4 students must be met 48 hours before class begins, or course will be canceled. In this case, refunds will be given to all who have already paid. Class is capped at 8 students. All classes are taught by Heather Brown, artist and former elementary school teacher.
