Class Description

*Please Read Description Before Signing Up* *Listed price does not include the price of the shirt being converted from art to shirt ($26) which you will purchase directly from Maria from Locally Threaded LLC* In this special Mothers Day class, kids will design a shirt for their moms! The front will feature your child's handprint in a paint color of their choice. The back will be more open ended but Miss Heather will guide them with prompts and one-on-one support to create a meaningful gift for their mom, grandma or whoever they are making the shirt for! (We're being vague on purpose so if you'd like to be surprised you can be! If you'd like more details feel free to send me a message.) They will choose between markers and washable tempera paint for their designs. Maria from Locally Threaded LLC (@locallythreadedllc on IG) will then take your child's design and handprint, scan them in, edit them, and print them onto a high quality T-shirt in the size and color of your choice. **Maria will email you after you register for this class to get your shirt preferences and take payment of $26 to print your shirt.** It will take 1 to 2 weeks for the shirts to be completed. When they are finished, Heather will email you to arrange pickup at her home in the Valley. Students of all ages are welcome, but this class will be geared towards kids. *Please sign up each person who will be doing the project. Parents can stay with kids for no extra charge. Independent children can also be dropped off and picked up. This is a single session class. Class minimum of 7 students must be met 48 before class begins, or class will be canceled and those who have already signed up will be refunded. Class is capped at 20 students. All painting materials included in price. This class will take place at Spokane Valley Library: 22 N Herald Rd, Spokane Valley, WA 99206 All classes are taught by Heather Brown, artist and former elementary school teacher.
