Memorial Day - Paint Your Pet Workshop

Class Description

**All May workshops will open for registration on APRIL 27 ** *Please Read Description Before Signing Up* In this very special workshop class, kids will get to paint a portrait of their pet (or an animal of their choice) on an 8x10" canvas using acrylic paint. We'll first go over drawing basics and I'll provide individual support to each student as they draw their pet and design a background. Then I'll model some basic painting techniques and help the kids as they paint their creations! They'll each go home with a beautiful piece of original artwork featuring their furry (or not) friend. **Please send your child with a photo to use as a reference of the pet or animal they would like to paint! Due to extremely limited space, I ask that parents drop their kids off for this class. If you have any specific concerns about leaving, please let me know. You are of course more than welcome to come inside and get them settled. Class minimum of 4 students must be met 48 hours before class begins, or class will be canceled. In this case, refunds will be given to all who have already paid. Class capped at 8 students. Absence policy: No refunds/credits for absences. In case of emergency please contact Heather directly. All classes are taught by Heather Brown, artist and former elementary school teacher.
