Please read ENTIRE description before signing up. In this half-day camp, we will focus on animal art of all kinds! We'll use pastels, watercolors, colored pencils, acrylic paint and even construction paper to create animal masterpieces. Each day we will have a step by step demo of a different animal as well as time for the kids to practice drawing their choice of animals. Relevant techniques for each medium will be demonstrated and practiced as well. In addition to lots of time creating art, we'll play games, have a few read-alouds and hopefully play in the backyard (if weather permits). Camp will go from 9:30 am to 12:30 pm, Monday through Thursday. Please send your child with a snack! I'll have some applesauce as backup, but find that kids prefer having their own food. Due to extremely limited space, I ask that parents drop their kids off for this class. If you have any specific concerns about leaving, please let me know. You are of course more than welcome to come inside and get them settled. *Absence and Cancellation Policy: Cancellations made at least 3 days in advance can be refunded. Absences will receive no credit. Please contact Heather directly in case of emergency. Class minimum of 4 students must be met 48 hours before class begins, or course will be canceled.
