Class Description
In this workshop class, students will learn the basics of using chalk pastels including blending, color mixing, and creating texture. We will then create beautiful sunsets which the kids can each customize how they like. Pastels are messy so please dress accordingly! I'll have some aprons too but they don't cover everything! Parents may choose to stay with kids or drop off for this class. Please be aware, there may not be a spot for you to sit if you do choose to stay. If you have a younger child that would like to participate, they are welcome to join us if you are willing to stay and provide support to them as needed. (If you feel that they would be fine on their own, that's fine too. Class minimum of 4 students must be met 48 hours before class begins, or class will be canceled. In this case, refunds will be given to all who have already paid. Class capped at 14 students. Absence policy: No refunds/credits for absences. In case of emergency please contact Heather directly. Cancellations made 48 hours in advance can be refunded. All materials included in price. Class takes place at Sweet Repeat Boutique: 1510 N Argonne Rd, Spokane Valley, WA 99212. All classes are taught by Heather Brown, artist and former elementary school teacher.
