Class Description
Please read ENTIRE description before signing up. In this small group course, kids will explore art through a different medium each week, including chalk pastels, construction paper, watercolors and acrylic paint. Relevant techniques will be demonstrated and practiced. Colored pencils and markers will also be available. Free creation time and Pictionary will also be part of the fun. Schedule 3/10: watercolors 3/17: construction paper 3/24: acrylic paint 3/31: chalk pastels Please be aware that most students are around the age of 7 to 10 in my classes. Older children/teens are welcome, but they may be the oldest by several years. Signing up with a friend is a great options for older students. Due to extremely limited space, I ask that parents drop their kids off for this class. If you have any specific concerns about leaving, please let me know. You are of course more than welcome to come inside and get the settled. *Absence Policy: One credit of $15 in the form of a discount code for a future GROUP class sign up will be emailed for ONE absence for any reason. Further absences will receive no credit. Please contact Heather directly in case of emergency. Class dates: Every Friday March 10 to 31, 3:45 to 5 pm Class minimum of 4 students must be met 48 hours before class begins, or course will be canceled. In this case, refunds will be given to all who have already paid. Class is capped at 8 students. All materials included in price. Class takes place at the in-home art studio: 8509 East Alki Ave Spokane Valley 99212. All classes are taught by Heather Brown, artist and former elementary school teacher.
